2.21.07 Richard Riess, PhD joins Texas ENT and Allergy

Texas ENT and Allergy is excited to announce Dick Riess, PhD has joined Kirsta Herder, MS, CCC-A in our Audiology Department. Dick Riess has worked in Bryan-College Station for 20 years and works with both adults and children in evaluating hearing loss and fitting hearing aids.

Biography:

Richard Riess, Ph.D., a licensed Audiologist, has practiced in Bryan-College Station since 1986. Prior to joining Texas ENT and Allergy in February 2007, he worked at Scott & White Clinic in College Station.

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the American Speech and Language Association (ASHA), Texas Speech and Hearing Association, Acoustical Society of America, American Audioglogy Society, and Phi Kappa Phi. He holds his Texas license in Audiology, which includes a license to dispense hearing aids.

He received his Bachelors of Science in Speech from Central Michigan University, his Masters of Communication Disorders from the University of Oklahoma, and his Ph.D. in Audiology from the University of Utah. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Texas State Technical College and has served on the Texas Board of Examiners in the Fitting and Dispensing of Hearing Aids.

He is married with two children.
