Grow your TMA Hard Hats for Little Heads giveaway by collaborating with other community partners. Consider safety presentations by fire or police officers; solicit donations of water or other giveaways from retailers; secure funding from your local Pilot Club, which focuses on brain injury prevention, or Rotary; and remember to invite your state legislator.

For the past four years, Texas ENT & Allergy has sponsored a huge community event in College Station. It gives more than 2,500 helmets to second-graders who are bused to the Texas A&M University campus for sports exhibitions, helmet testimonials, and more.

Andrew de Jong, MD, one of the sponsors, said: “This is a great way to give back to our community. We believe it is so important to help educate our children about bike safety, and safety in all wheeled sports.”
